Wilma Gustafson Obituary
Mrs. Wilma Jane Edwards Gustafson, age 92, of Roaring River, died Saturday, March 21, 2020 at Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Mrs. Gustafson was born September 21, 1927 in Wilkes County to John Bunyon and Bessie Leora Deborde Edwards. She was a member of Pleasant Home Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, CWO4 Paul Sherman Gustafson (ret.); one son, John Scott Gustafson; one sister, Mildred Anthony; and seven brothers, Basil Edwards, Rudolph Edwards, Ronald Edwards, Claude Edwards, Russell Edwards, Roger Edwards, and Robert Edwards.
She is survived by two daughters, Vickie Key and husband, Ricky, of Roaring River, and Beth Elledge and husband, Gray, of North Wilkesboro; two sons, Paul Robert Gustafson and wife, Candy, of Greenville, NC, and Richard Edwards Gustafson of Roaring River; three grandchildren, Sabrina Brown, Autumn Elledge, and Cole Elledge; and three great-grandchildren, Mayson Shumate, Bryson Brown, and Peyton Brown.
