William Jeffrey Shew

Mr. William Jeffrey Shew, age 65 of North Wilkesboro passed away September 16, 2022 at his home. 

A Celebration of Life service will be held 1:00 PM Friday, September 23, 2022 at Harvest Time Ministries with Pastor Gene Shephard and Rev. Rodney Blake officiating.  The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 1:00 PM prior to the service at the church. 

William was born on December 10, 1956 in Wilkes County to Henry Walter and Sally Benton Shew.   

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son; William Barry Shew and two brothers; James and Ricky Shew.

He is survived by a daughter; Kimberly Sue Gilreath and husband Brian of North Wilkesboro, a son; Henry Larry Shew of North Wilkesboro, former wife; Mary Louise Bowlin Shew, two step-sons; Danny Jones of North Wilkesboro, Tommy Dale Jones and wife Deana of Wilkesboro, four grandchildren; Kelly Lynn Shew, Ryleigh Michelle Gilreath, Brian Aaron Gilreath, Kaitlyn Call, three step-grandchildren; Dalton Jones, Oceanna Jones, Jadeyn Jones, five sisters; Susie Mastin of Wilkesboro, Betty Combs, Brenda Combs, Barbara Hollar and husband Danny, Sandy Shew all of North Wilkesboro, three brothers; Tom Shew and wife Sue of North Wilkesboro, Warner Shew of Scottville and Robert Shew of North Wilkesboro.
