Mr. William Hillery Gilreath, Sr., age 88 of North Wilkesboro passed away Sunday, April 4, 2021 at his home.
A private service will be held at Reins-Sturdivant Chapel with Rev. Eddie Tharpe officiating. Burial will be at Scenic Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Gilreath was born October 31, 1932 in Wilkes County to Claude Gilreath. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.
In addition to his dad, he was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Mayes Gilreath, and a sister, Jean.
He is survived by two daughters, Pamela Gilreath and Betty Fruchtenicht both of North Wilkesboro; three sons, William Hillery Gilreath, Jr., Philip Gilreath and Scott Gilreath all of North Wilkesboro; nine grandchildren, and fourteen great grandchildren.
