Mrs. Wanda “Gail” Church Williams, age 75 of Wilkesboro, passed away Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at her home.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, October 4, 2025, at Reins-Sturdivant Chapel with Rev. James Wingler and Rev. Sherrill Wellborn officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM until 1:30 PM prior to the service at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home. Burial will be in Scenic Memorial Gardens.
She was born March 13, 1950, in Wilkes County to Clarence Linney and Elmina Dunn Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Floyd Williams; grandson, Justin Voies; sister, Lucille McNeil; and two brothers, Edmond Wolfe and Carl Wolfe.
She is survived by three daughters, Annette Weimer and husband, Terry Warren of Elkin, Angela Deanna Spears and Sherrie Gail Owens both of Wilkesboro; two sons, Jackie Stone and wife Tina of North Wilkesboro and Derick Aaron Owens and wife Jen of Wilkesboro; special grandson, Logan Brian Spears and wife Alyssa; and grandchildren Kala Spears (Michael Eller), James Ryan Voies, Austin Castillo, Amber Owens, Cindy Gail Wilson, Haven Lindsey Owens, Dylan Jones and Justin’s wife, Amanda Voies; and several great grandchildren; and special friend, Shonne Bynum.
Flowers will be accepted, or memorials may be made to the Donor’s choice.
