Mrs. Virginia Pardue Walker, age 89 of Hamptonville passed away Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson.
Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, September 5, 2020 at Union Baptist Church Cemetery in Hamptonville with Rev. Kenny Pardue officiating. There will be a public viewing from 1:00 PM until 8:00 PM Friday evening at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home.
Mrs. Walker was born August 19, 1931 in Wilkes County to Robert Cleveland and Virginia Dare Myers Pardue. She was a member of Union Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband; Ford Walker, three sisters; Bonnie Clayton, Fuschia Pardue, Ann Woodruff and three brothers; Phola Pardue, Kermit Pardue and Robert (Bob) Pardue.
She is survived by a daughter; Johnnie Everidge and husband David of Hamptonville and a son; Ricky Walker and wife Terri of Hamptonville, five grandchildren; Randy Walker and wife Tracie, DeeDee Handy and husband Jason, Amy Jo Couch, Kristi Walker and Travis Walker, ten great grandchildren; Brittany Dobbins and husband Bryan, Preston Walker and wife Mara, Landon Walker, Deven Couch, Abby Couch, Katelyn Handy, Dylan Terry, Cole Terry, Braylen Walker and Brinn Walker and three great great grandchildren; Reece Dobbins, Rye Dobbins and Rivers Dare Dobbins and one sister; Nada Coleman of Greensboro and many special nieces and nephews.
