Vickie (Gustafson) Key

Mrs. Vickie Gustafson Key, age 72, of Roaring River passed away Friday, June 27, 2025.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at Charity United Methodist Church in the Austin community with Rev. Stacie Eller officiating.  The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM until 1:30 PM prior to the service in the church fellowship hall.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.

She was born on January 9, 1953, in Surry County to Paul Sherman and Wilma Jane Edwards Gustafson.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ricky Dean Key and brother, Scott Gustafson.

She is survived by sister, Beth Elledge (Gray) of North Wilkesboro; two brothers, Bob Gustafson (Candy) of Greenville, NC and Richard Gustafson of Roaring River; numerous nieces and nephews; and her beloved cat, Buddy.
