Mrs. Vea Hall Welborn, age 93, of North Wilkesboro passed away Tuesday, April 15, 2025 at her home. 

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at Temple Hill Methodist Church with Rev. Justin Welch and Rev. Clyde Holleman officiating.  The casket will be placed in the church at 1:30 PM.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 PM prior Monday evening at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home. 

Vea was born July 22, 1931 in Forsyth County to Elder C.D. Hall, Sr. And Mary Huff Hall.  She was a member of Temple Hill Methodist Church. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; Thomas Mitchell Welborn, a sister; Faye Reeves and a brother C.D. Hall, Jr. 

She is survived by three daughters; Gale Brewer and husband Randy of Ronda, Penny Underwood and husband Drew of Rural Hall, Joy Parker and husband Jeff of North Wilkesboro, seven grandchildren; Thomas Brewer and wife Holly, Tara Hayes and husband Derrick, Toby Underwood, Henry Underwood, Joseph Parker, Joshua Parker, Olivia Wagoner and husband Jason, six great grandchildren; Maggie Brewer, Ellie Brewer, Kadie Brewer, Camryn Hayes, Karis Hayes and Rissie Hayes.
