Tony Allen Parsons

Mr. Tony Allen Parsons, age 83, of Lewisville passed away Friday, March 13, 2026, at his home. 

Graveside services will be held 3:00 PM Monday, March 30, 2026, at Mountlawn Memorial Park with Rev. Robert Duncan officiating.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:30 PM prior to the service at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home in North Wilkesboro.   

Tony was born June 27, 1942, in Forsyth County to Paul Allen and Lucille Baker Parsons.  Tony served in the United States Army Reserves.  He spent a majority of his career as an accountant with Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools.  He was an avid antique collector.  

In addition to his parents and a step-father; John Craven, he was preceded in death by a sister and brother-in-law; Kate and Worth Robinson, a sister-in-law; Carole Watts, grandparents; Myrtle and Bynum Baker. 

He is survived by his wife of 61 years; Peggy Wingler Parsons of the home, a son; Cory Parsons (Kelly) of Elon, a granddaughter; Kensington Parsons, a sister; Beth Huie (Richard) of Purlear, a brother; Jerry Craven (Judy) of North Wilkesboro, a sister-in-law; Patsy Bumgarner (Donnie) and a brother-in-law; Bill Watts along with several nieces and nephews.
