Toney Hamilton Johnson

Mr. Toney Hamilton Johnson, age 79 of Millers Creek passed away Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at Wilkes Health and Rehabilitation. 

Private services will be held at Scenic Memorial Gardens with Pastor Lyn Lambert officiating.  A public viewing will be held Saturday from 12:00 until 5:00 PM at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home. 

Mr. Johnson was born January 28, 1941 in Wilkes County to Joe and Viola Faw Johnson.  He was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church. 

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife; Shirley Greer Johnson; a sister, Delores Broyhill Greer; and a brother, Ray Johnson. 

He is survived by two sons; Steve Johnson and wife Mary Jane of Millers Creek, Terry Johnson and wife Wanda of Granite Falls, two grandchildren; Kristen Andrews and husband Matthew, Lindsey York and husband Mitch, five great grandchildren; Luke, Tate, Jaxon, Turner and Tinleigh, a sister; Debbie Lambert and husband Rev. Lyn Lambert of Wilkesboro, several nieces and nephews and a special thanks to Wilkes Health and Rehab for all of their love and care.
