Mr. Timothy “Tim” Gray Childress, age 59 of Traphill passed away Saturday, July 26, 2025, at his home.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
He was born February 6, 1966, in Surry County to Billy Joe and Sadie Mae Wilmoth Childress. He was the worlds greatest PawPaw, loving Husband and outstanding Daddy.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Sherry Goss Childress; daughter, Casie Childress of Boomer; son, Timothy James Childress and wife Sarah of Roaring River; grandson, John Gray Livingston; sister, Teresa Brown of Hays; and two brothers, Mitchell Childress of Hays and Joseph Childress of Wilkesboro.
