Mr. Thomas Phillip “Buck” Lewis, age 80 of Ronda passed away Friday, July 16, 2021 at Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson.
Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, July 18, 2021 at Sweet Home Baptist Church with Rev. Daniel Settle, Rev. Jonathan White, Rev. Johnny Arnold and Rev. William Souther officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 2:30 prior to the service at the church.
Mr. Lewis was born May 3, 1941 in Wilkes County to Thomas Benjamin and Sina Marie Adams Lewis. Thomas was a member of Sweet Home Baptist Church and a dedicated, faithful child of God.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his first wife; Faye Brannon Lewis.
He is survived by his wife; Bertha Reece Lewis of the home, a daughter; Sheila Lamm of Jonesville, step-daughter; Susan Wagoner and husband Todd of Elkin, a son; Phillip Lewis and wife Lisa of Roaring River, a step-son; Stacy Jones and wife Angie of Hamptonville, two grandchildren; Jacob and Isaac, step-grandchildren; Joel, Andrew, Henry, Kaitland, Noel and Lela Beth, step-great grandchildren; Journey, Harrison, Ezra and David, three sisters; Peggy Sue Wagoner of Ronda, Betty Jean Ladd of Ronda and Mary Kate Brannon of Yadkinville and many nieces and nephews.
