Texie Greene Obituary
Mrs. Texie M. Greene age 91 widow of Roey Greene passed away Thursday, October 22, 2020 at Westwood Hills Nursing and Rehabilitation.
Graveside services will be held 3:00 Friday, October 23, 2020 at Mtn. View Baptist Church in Watauga County with Rev. Mike Barfoot officiating.
Mrs. Greene was born February 10, 1929 in Wilkes County to Herman Greene and Betty Elizora Benge Greene. She was a homemaker and a member of Mtn. View Baptist Church in Watauga County.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Roey Greene; a son Roy Glen Greene; and a brother Ronald McKinley Greene.
She is survived by her granddaughter, Tara McDonald of Rocky Mount; a sister Beulah Hamby of Lenoir; two brothers Hubert Greene and James Greene, both of Ferguson.
