Mr. Terry Allen Royal, age 64 of McGrady passed away Wednesday, September 6, 2023, at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist-Wilkes Medical Center.
Terry was born July 30, 1959, in Wilkes County to Elmer and Rosie Wyatt Royal.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, September 10, 2023 at Reins-Sturdivant Chapel with Rev. David Jones officiating. Burial will be in Union Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Saturday evening at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis Wagoner Royal.
He is survived by two sons, Michael Royal, David Royal both McGrady; his mother, Rosie Wyatt Royal of McGrady; two sisters, Linda Hutchinson (Michael) of Traphill, Teresa Hawkins of North Wilkesboro; two brothers, William Royal, and Ronnie Royal (Barbara) all of McGrady.
Flowers will be accepted, or memorials may be made to H.O.P.E. Ministries, 514 Elkin Highway, North Wilkesboro, NC 28659.
