Mr. Terry Charles Love, age 83 of Boomer passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at Atrium Health-Wake Forest Baptist-Wilkes Medical Center. 

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Monday, April 1, 2024, at Little Rock Baptist Church with Rev. Hal Greene and Rev. Robert Livingston officiating.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 9:45 until 10:45 AM prior to the service at the church. 

Terry was born February 15, 1941, in Mecklenburg County to Rayford Cook and Verna Pennell Love.  He was a member of Little Rock Baptist Church and was owner/operator of Love Grading Company, Inc. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife; Carolyn Jane Sweezy Love, a grandson; J.D. Love and a brother; Rev. R, Rod Love. 

He is survived by a daughter; Verna Elizabeth Love Mills and husband Mark of Mooresville, three sons; Terry C. Love, Jr. and wife Melody of Iron Station, Barry F. Love and wife Linda of Kannapolis, Jonathan D. Love and wife Jennifer of Seagrove, six  grandchildren; Jeremy H. Love and wife Jessica, Emily C. Love Todd and husband Jordan, Luke Vernon, Alex Love and wife Kayla, Joshua Love and Ruby Love, eight great grandchildren; Jared, Amelia, Gracie, Cora, Isaac, Hunter, Xander and Addison. 

Flowers will be accepted, or memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or Boomer Fire Department, 5990-NC 18 Boomer, NC 28606.
