Mrs. Teresa Dancy Casey, age 66 of Hays, wife of Stephen Samuel Casey passed away Thursday, March 9, 2023 at her home. 

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, March 16, 2023 at Reins-Sturdivant Chapel with Rev. Tim Pruitt and Rev. Glenn Dancy, III officiating.   Entombment will be in Mountlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Wednesday evening at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home. 

Teresa was born December 1, 1956.  She was a member of Journey of Grace Baptist Church.  Teresa was a devoted wife, like a mother to so many, sister and a friend to everyone. She retired from Wilkes County Schools after teaching for 30+ years and was loved by her students. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; Wayne and Betty Sue Johnson Dancy. 

She is survived by her husband; Stephen Samuel Casey of the home, a brother; Ricky Dancy of North Wilkesboro, two aunts; Carolyn Dearman and Betty Dancy Elledge both of North Wilkesboro, and several dear cousins.
