Sylvia Elaine Triplett

Our beloved sister, niece, cousin and friend, Sylvia Elaine Triplett was called home to be with our Lord on Thursday, December 31, 2020 at Catawba Memorial Hospital in Hickory, NC.

Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, January 10, 2021 at High View Cemetery with Rev. Richard K. Watts officiating.  The public may view from 9:00 AM until 5:00 PM on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home.

Sylvia was born on September 14, 1958 in Wilkes County to Thomas Lee and Susie Harris Triplett. She was the oldest of four children. She is preceded in death by her mother and father. She is survived by a sister, Shana (Colleen) Triplett  of Reidsville; brothers, Thomas (Crystal) Triplett of Wilkesboro and Terone Triplett of Claremont; half brother, Thomas Smith of Winston-Salem; nephews, Christian Triplett, Wesley Triplett, Ty Triplett, Tevan Triplett; nieces, Tiffany Sudduth, Haven Triplett; great niece, Kazlyn Bell; great nephew, Maverick Ingram; aunts, Sallie Harris and Becky McElroy; uncles, Camie Dean Harris and Hughey Harris of Wilkesboro; special friends, Cathy Graham, Tisha Annis, Wendy Flowers and a host of cousins and friends. 

Sylvia (Nana) graduated from Wilkes Central High School in 1976. She worked for many years at Tyson Foods in Wilkesboro.

To know Nana is to know of her love for jewelry. She always wore pretty bracelets and rings. Nana also loved winning prizes at Bingo and being around others.  When she was with family, she was full of joy, laughter and smiles.  Nana enjoyed collecting teddy bears and found comfort in them. She was a loving caring person and to know her was to love her. Nana will be deeply missed by her family, friends and all who knew her.
