Stephan Lambert Lackey

Mr. Stephan Lambert Lackey, age 58 of North Wilkesboro passed away Saturday, April 24, 2021 at Wake Forest Baptist-Wilkes Medical Center. 

A Celebration of Life Service will be held 4:00 PM Saturday, May 1, 2021 at Reins-Sturdivant Chapel with Rev. Charles Hollifield and Pastor Mark Albertino officiating.  The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:45 PM prior to the service at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home. 

Mr. Lackey was born December 19, 1962 in Wilkes County to James Derwood and Marjoree Lambert Lackey.  He loved fishing, NASCAR, the Carolina Panthers and wrestling.  He was a member of Little Rock Baptist Church. 

He was preceded in death by his father, his maternal grandparents; Paul and Lorene Lambert, paternal grandparents; Sherman and Thelma Lackey Kilby and a brother; Timothy Kevin  Lackey. 

He is survived by his wife; Sharri Porter of the home, a daughter; Jennifer Lackey Foster and husband Chad and a son; Ryan Lackey all of North Wilkesboro, his mother; Marjoree Lambert Mathena and step-father; Edward Lee Mathena “Pops” of North Wilkesboro and a brother; James Michael Lackey and wife Kim of North Wilkesboro.
