Shirley Temple (Holman) Ferguson

Mrs. Shirley Temple Holman Ferguson, age 82, of Ferguson passed away Thursday, January 9, 2025, at Rose Glen Manor. 

Memorial services will be held 2:00 PM Friday, January 17, 2025, at Beaver Creek Baptist Church with Rev. James Hall officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:45 PM until 1:45 PM prior to the service at Beaver Creek Baptist Church. 

Shirley was born March 6, 1942, in Watauga County to Bynum Taft and Bertha Wolfe Holman. She was a member of Beaver Creek Baptist Church. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; Charles Jerry Ferguson, sister; Opal Plowman, two brothers; Bynum Taft Holman, Jr. and A. D. Holman. 

She is survived by three daughters; Andora Minton (Ricky) of Ferguson, Paula Neher (Brad) of Virginia, Belinda Anderson (Timmy) of Ferguson, son; Edward Jerry Ferguson (George Michael Hagy) of Florida, six grandchildren; Brittney Anderson (Adam Hamby), Rachel Minton, Max Anderson, Ben Neher, Elizabeth Faw (Josh), Andie Neher, nine great-grandchildren; Olivia Sheets, Connor Mash, Jaxon Hamby, Kadance Faw, Abby Faw, Bentley Faw, Samara Staton, Ivy Anderson, and Raelynn Anderson. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
