Mrs. Sally H. Moore, age 85 of Moravian Falls passed away Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at Wilkes Health & Rehab.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, June 28, 2025, at Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery in the Brushy Mountain community with Rev. Vincent Adams officiating.  The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the church fellowship hall.

Sally was born November 10, 1939, in Wilkes County to Clarence Jehu and Zella Tevepaugh Hendren.  She lovingly made floral arrangements for the graves of her family members who have gone on before.  She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church and Brushy Mountain Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Barnette Moore; five sisters, JoAnn Powers, Martha Childers, Janie Reid, Gladys Campbell and Betty Rufty; and five brothers, Donald Hendren, Lowell Hendren, Mac Hendren, John Hendren and James Hendren.

She is survived by daughter, Sandra Adams and husband, Vincent of Moravian Falls; son, Jeffrey Moore of Wilkesboro; four grandchildren, Wesley Adams (Wynette), Andrew Adams, Chad Moore and Autumn Adams; sister, Libby Oliver; and two brothers, William Hendren and Roger Hendren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Brushy Mountain Volunteer Fire Department, 7990 Brushy Mountain Road, Moravian Falls, NC 28654 or to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
