Sadie W. (Wagoner) Chipman

Mrs. Sadie W. Wagoner Chipman, age 85 of  North Wilkesboro passed away Tuesday, September 15, 20 at home. 

Services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, September 19, 2020 at Reins-Sturdivant Chapel  with Mr. Scott Combs officiating. Burial will follow at Mountlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Friday evening September 18, 2020 at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home. 

Sadie was born July 19, 1935 in Wilkes County to Silas Hampton and Ina Mae Ballard Wyatt. She was a member of the Church of God on Hinshaw Street, North Wilkesboro.  She enjoyed gardening, going to her church and spending time with family and friends, 

Sadie was preceded in death by her first husband, Vernon  Clay Wagoner of 17 years, her parents; sisters, Helen Elledge, Gaynell Lawless, Carol Martin; and brothers, Tabor Wyatt, Roy Wyatt and J.C. Wyatt. 

She is survived by her husband, Roger Chipman,  and her three sons, Silas Edwin Wagoner and wife Betty, Harold E. Wagoner and wife Rita and Alvin G. Wagoner and wife Tammy all of North Wilkesboro; three grandsons, Harold Lee Wagoner and wife, Michelle, Vernon Wagoner and wife Kristy, Jason Wagoner and wife Tonya; two granddaughters, Keshi Wagoner-Whitley and husband David and Elizabeth Wagoner; three great granddaughters, Bethany Pruitt and husband Bradley,  Amberlynn  Wagoner and Millisent-Dashi Whitley; five great grandsons, Jonah Wagoner, Jonathan Wagoner, Garrett Wagoner, Logan Wagoner, Dawson Whitley; one great great grandson, Jackson Pruitt. Three sisters, Hattie Callendar of McGrady, Virginia Patrick of Newport News, VA and Evelyn Hollis of Hope, AR;  several nieces and nephews and special friends, Anita Logan, Kathy Rogers and Blanch Curtis. 

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Church of God 605 J. Street North Wilkesboro, NC  28659

Pallbearers are Harold Lee Wagoner, Vernon Wagoner, Jason Wagoner, Jonah Wagoner, Jonathan Wagoner, and Garrett Wagoner.  Honorary Pallbearers are Logan Wagoner, Dawson Whitley, David Whitley, Bradley Pruitt, and Jackson Pruitt.
