Roy Hood Obituary
Mr. Roy Lee Hood, age 74 of Boomer, passed away Thursday, April 29, 2020 at his home.
Private graveside services will be held at Little Rock Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Hal Greene officiating.
Mr. Hood was born August 12, 1945 in Wilkes County to John Glenn and Jannie Milam Hood. He retired from Clayton-Marcus Furniture in Bethlem and was a member of Little Rock Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Burke Hood and two sisters, Mary Hood Pennell, Emo Parsons; and three brothers, Glenn, Ralph and Bill Hood.
He is survived by a half-sister, Susan Sharpe Rentz and husband Bill of Del City, OK; and several nieces and nephews.
