Rosie "Nell" Dellie (Wyatt) Royal

Mrs. Rosie “Nell” Dellie Wyatt Royal, age 86 of McGrady, passed away Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at her daughter’s home in Traphill.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, April 12, 2025, at Reins-Sturdivant Chapel with Rev. Matthew Vannoy officiating.  The family will receive from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Friday at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home.   Burial will be in the Perry Family Cemetery.

She was born on September 3, 1938, in Wilkes County to Went McKenley and Molley Leona Royal Wyatt.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Elmer Lee Royal; son, Terry Allen Royal; three sisters, Ruth Wyatt, Betty Wyatt and Ettie Harris; and six brothers, Ray Wyatt, W.M. Wyatt, Clint Wyatt, Clifton Wyatt, Steve Wyatt and Larry Wyatt.

She is survived by two daughters, Mary Teresa Hawkins of North Wilkesboro and Linda Jean Hutchinson and husband, Michael Ray Hutchinson of Traphill; two sons, William James Royal of McGrady and Ronnie Glen Royal and wife Barbara of McGrady; seven grandchildren, Michael Cicro Royal, David Allen Royal, Wilborn Brandon Hawkins, Elmer Albert Hawkins, Jonathan Daniel Wingler, Michael Bryan Hutchinson, Lockie Rose Lane; and nine great grandchildren, Tara Nicole Hawkins, Destyne Rose Hawkins, Abigale Aliya Brooks, Elmer Albert Hawkins, Paul Allen Conner, Keffor Hawkins, Sophie Hawkins, Nova Hawkins, and Sapphire Amelia Lane; sister, Joann Wyatt; brother, Rex Wyatt of Millers Creek.
