Rosie (Holloway) Sidden

Mrs. Rosie Faye Holloway Sidden, age 81 of Traphill passed away Sunday, July 6, 2025, at her home.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, July 14, 2025, at Old Roaring River Baptist Church in the Traphill community.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Sunday, July 13, 2025, at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home.  Burial will be in Old Roaring River Baptist Church Cemetery.

She was born on June 21, 1944, in Wilkes County to Rayvon and Texie Holloway.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, J.C. Sidden; two brothers, Ernie Clay Holloway and R.V. Holloway; and brother-in-law, Dick Hincher.

She is survived by daughter, Susie Pardue (David McGlamery) of Taylorsville; son, James Sidden of Traphill; granddaughter, Jamie Sidden (Rudy) of North Wilkesboro; sister, Virginia Hincher of Traphill; brother Richard Holloway (Rickie) of North Wilkesboro and sister-in-law, Judy Holloway of Traphill.
