Reece Church

Kenneth Reece Church, 80, of Titusville, FL (Native of Wilkes County, NC) went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 14, 2025, while surrounded by his loving family.

Reece was born on March 27, 1945, to the late Cecil and Mildred Church in Wilkes County, North Carolina and served our nation with great honor. He was drafted into the U.S. Army in March of 1966 and served in Vietnam. He was honorably discharged in 1968. He served proudly as a member of the VFW Post 1142 in North Wilkesboro, North Carolina and enjoyed golf, fishing, hunting, playing cards and tinkering around the garage and home. He valued his time as a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

Other than his parents, Reece is preceded in death by his 6 siblings Violet Foster, Carol McNeil, Jean Church, Ralph Church, Judy Schrock, Rex Church, and stepson David Hall.

He will be greatly missed by his beloved wife of twenty-six years, Sheila Church; son Victor (Robin) Church, daughter Shereece (Alan) McGlamery; step-son Steven (Stephanie) Hall, step-daughter Barbara (Everett) Harris; grandchildren Zach (Rachel Bond) McGlamery, Benjamin (Kylee) Church and Bethany (Tyler) Skeen; step-grandchildren Jennifer (Shannon Coleman) Garrod, Ashley Harris, Brent (Amanda) Hall, Lee Harris, Courtney (James) Stephenson and Chase Hall.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens at 2:00 PM.

Flowers will be accepted, or Memorial contributions may be made in Reece’s name to The Wounded Warrior Project, 1990 Fordham Drive Suite 100, Fayetteville NC 28304.

North Brevard Funeral Home, 1450 Norwood Ave, Titusville, Florida 32796 will be in charge of all arrangements.
