Mr. Ransom Earl Lovette, better known as “Earl”, age 75, of Millers Creek, died Friday, July 10, 2020 at Wilkes Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at Reins-Sturdivant Chapel with Dr. Chris Hefner, Pastor Ralph Minton, and Pastor Jody Bewley officiating. Burial with military honors by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post # 1142 will be in Charity Community Church Cemetery in Millers Creek. The family will receive friends on Monday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home.
Mr. Lovette was born February 22, 1945 in Wilkes County to Robert Elmore and Rosa Pearl Laws Lovette. He served in the Army in the Vietnam War. He retired from Tyson Foods as a truck driver after 36 years of service.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters, Faye Lyall and Doris Church; and three brothers, James Franklin Lovette, Robert Wayne Lovette, and William Clyde Lovette.
He is survived by two daughters, Tammy Lovette Watson and husband, Jonathan, of Ferguson, and Brandy Lovette Blevins and husband, Scott, of Wilkesboro; one son, Brian Lovette and wife, Leslie, of North Wilkesboro; nine grandchildren, Chloe Watson, Chelsea Watson, Kristen Blevins, Turner Lovette, Connor Blevins, Caitlyn Blevins, Truleigh Lovette, Tanner Clifton, and Tristan Clifton; one step-great-grandchild, Kenai McIntyre; two sisters, Virginia Deaver of Bradenboro, and Betty Francis and husband, Dean, of North Wilkesboro; and one brother, Jerry Gwyn Lovette and wife, Regina, of Millers Creek.
