Ralph was born December 1, 1952, in Forsyth County to Ralph Coleman Hicks, Sr. and Ruby Ailiean Calhoun Hicks.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by two sons; Aaron (Dawn) Hicks of Hamptonville, Adrian (Amber) Hicks of North Wilkesboro, six grandchildren, a sister; Denise Fox of Boonville and a brother Brian Hicks of Boonville.
