Mrs. Polly Brannock, age 81, has gone home to be with the Lord, April 9th, 2025. After a long battle with cancer, she passed peacefully at her home with her family by her side.
She was born to Frank and Mattie Holland. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband Coley Jason Brannock, sister Shelby Deskins, and brother Tommy Holland.
She is survived by one son Christopher Jason Brannock and wife Tracy Hamby Brannock of Wilkesboro, NC, two sisters, Frankie Caudill of Millers Creek, Ruth Caudle of North Wilkesboro, one brother, Harold Holland wife Ernestine of North Wilkesboro., two granddaughters, Amelia Funk and husband Nathaniel of Rock Hill, SC, Maty Brannock of Virginia, one step grandson, Matthew Curry of OK, one step granddaughter, Jade Osborne of Ashe County, NC, two step great-grandchildren, Lucas Curry of OK and Oakleigh Curry of Wilkesboro, and twin great-grandchildren due in July to Amelia and Nate, she was looking so forward to meeting Wells and June Funk. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Polly loved her family and spending time with them. She was a member of Welcome Home Baptist Church for many years. She attended Kings College and retired from Key City Furniture from the Payroll Department.
Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM, Saturday, April 12, 2025, at Reins-Sturdivant Chapel with Rev. Lyn Lambert and Rev. Chris Aiken officiating. Burial will follow at Welcome Home Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:30 PM until 2:30 PM prior to the service at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home.
