Mrs. Phyllis Jean Walker Jolly, age 81, of Roaring River, wife of Rex Jolly, died Saturday, August 8, 2020 at Forsyth Medical Center.
Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, August 11, 2020 at New Light Baptist Church #1 in Roaring River with Rev. Steve Smith officiating.
Mrs. Jolly was born November 10, 1938 in Wilkes County to Edwina Walker. She was a member of New Light Baptist Church #1.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Edwina Walker; and two brothers, Joel Pruitt and Fred Waters.
She is survived by her husband, Rex Jolly, of the home; three sons, Gerald Jolly and wife, Tina, of Roaring River, Barry Jolly and wife, Elaine, of Traphill, and Stephen Jolly and wife, Mary, of Roaring River; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; four sisters, Janet Garris and husband, Billy, of Traphill, Linda Johnson and husband, Hobert, of Hays, Ena Holman of Lenoir, and Karen Waters of Hickory; and one brother, Max Waters and wife, Bessie, of Lenoir.
