Peggy (Groce) Absher

Mrs. Peggy M. Groce Absher, age 87 of Wilkesboro passed away Saturday, October 4, 2025, at SECU Hospice Care Center in Yadkinville.

No services will be held.

She was born on July 7, 1938, in Wilkes County and is the last surviving child of W.A. (Shorty) and Maude Groce.

Peggy was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Absher, son, Mark Anthony Absher and grandson, Garrett Absher.

She is survived by son, Barry Absher and wife Kim of Wilkesboro.

The family requests no flowers.
