Mrs. Pearl Irene Wells Trivette, age 89, of Union Grove passed away Friday, April 25, 2025 at her home.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, April 29, 2025 at Sweet Home Baptist Church with Rev. Jake Easter officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the Fellowship Hall.
Pearl was born February 22, 1936, in Wilkes County to Hiram and Vallie Anderson Wells. She was a member of Sweet Home Baptist Church and taught Sunday School for 50 years. Pearl read through the Bible yearly with the church since 1977.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; William Henry Trivette, three sisters and brothers-in-law; Blanche (JE) Sale, Vennie (Graydon) Souther, Ferne (Modis) Templeton, two brothers and a sister-in-law; HM (Dorothy) Wells, Jack Wells.
She is survived by a son; David William (Sandy) Trivette, a daughter; Lois Vallie (Eddie) Gregory both of Union Grove, four grandchildren; Dr. Kayla (Brandon) Lyon, William Gregory, Isaac Gregory, Daniel (Savannah) Gregory, five great grandchildren; Graylon Sparks, Navy Lyon, Lawson Gregory, Pearl Gregory, Henry Gregory, a sister; Dorothy (Raeford) Rash and a sister-in-law; Bug Wells. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and in-laws that were like brothers and sisters.
