Paula Michelle (Phipps) White

Mrs. Paula Michelle Phipps White, age 61 of North Wilkesboro, passed away Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at her home.

A private family service will be held at a later date.

She was born on July 4, 1964, in Aberdeen, Maryland to John Edward Sr. and Ruth Ann Shaw Phipps.

She was preceded in death by her father, John Edward Phipps Sr. and husband, Lawrence Matthew White.

She is survived by daughter, Tosha Nicole Ester of Wilkesboro; son, Brandon Wayne McCoy and wife Jade Brooks McCoy of Hamptonville; her mother, Ruth Ann Shaw of Aberdeen, MD; five grandchildren, John James Gabriel Ester, Serahna Jaycee Nicole Ester, Shawn Edward Dean Ester, Tamara Grace McCoy and Josh Eli McCoy; sister, Vickie Phipps Hunt, and two brothers, Johnny Edward Phipps Jr. of Winston-Salem and Daniel Aaron Phipps.
