Paul "Rusty" Darin Shumaker

Mr. Paul “Rusty” Darin Shumaker, age 58 of North Wilkesboro passed away Thursday, March 23, 2023 at his home.

A Celebration of Life service will be held 2:00 PM Monday, March 27, 2023 at Reins-Sturdivant Chapel with Rev. David Welborn and Mr. Allen Call officiating.  The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

Rusty was born January 12, 1965 in Iredell County to Staley and Blanch Gregory Shumaker.  He was a member of Hunting Creek Baptist Church.  Rusty graduated from Wilkes Central High School in 1983. 

He was preceded in death by father.

He is survived by his mother; Blanch Gregory Shumaker of North Wilkesboro, a brother; Rodney Shumaker and wife Lisa of North Wilkesboro, a niece; Kristen Shumaker of Durham, a nephew; Justin Shumaker of Charlotte, and special friend; Lisa Darlene Owens.
