Mr. Paul Taylor, age 97 of Wilkesboro passed away Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at Ridge Valley Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, December 8, 2024, at Greater Vision Baptist Church with Rev. Shane Pardue officiating.  The family will receive friends from 1:30 PM until 2:30 PM prior to the service at the church.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.

He was born December 19, 1926, in Wilkes County to Charlie Cowles and Gladys E. Dula Taylor.  He was a veteran of the US Army serving in World War II. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Dean Taylor; and sister, Ola Greene.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Ann Greer Taylor of the home, great niece, Elaine (Alan) Parker; great great niece, Taylor (Caleb) Alford and Alyssa Parker; and great great great nephew, Jude Alan Alford and several other special nieces and nephews.
