Paul Gentle Obituary
Mr. Paul Dean Gentle, age 80 passed away Thursday October 7, 2021, at Wilkes Health and Rehabilitation.
Graveside service will be held Monday October 11, 2021, at 1:00PM at Edgewood Baptist Church Cemetery with Dr. Evelyn Lemons officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday from 11:00AM until 12:00PM at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home.
Mr. Gentle was born in Wilkes County on March 26,1941 to John and Leah Benge Gentle. He was an avid lover and picker of bluegrass music.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and three brothers.
Mr. Gentle is survived by his wife, Linda Gentle of the home; one daughter Paula Mitchell (Dennis) of King, NC; one son Eric Gentle (Traci) of Wilkesboro; one grandchild Jordan Mitchell (Olivia) of Winston-Salem, three sisters: Bobbie Blevins (Joe), Nancy Bishop (Doug), Kay Durham (Reece) and two brothers: Wayne Gentle (Floy) and Charlie Gentle.
