Mr. Paul Esau Miller, age 94 of North Wilkesboro went to his heavenly father Monday, May 22, 2023. 

Paul was born August 10, 1928 in Ashe County to David Hampton and Etta Barnes Miller. He was a retired truck driver for Carolina Mirror. Paul enjoyed cars, NASCAR, gardening, and gospel music. He was a dedicated and faithful member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Paul was a beloved son, brother, husband, uncle, father, grandfather, friend, and church member. He was full of life and optimism and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by eighteen siblings, an infant daughter, and an infant great-grandson. 

Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, May 27, 2023 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Hwy 16 with Pastor Brady Hayworth and Rev. Phil Chapman officiating.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends Friday May 26, 2023 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home. 

He is survived by his wife of seventy-two years, Zella Mae Royal Miller of the home; three daughters, Brenda Miller (Grady) of Hiddenite, Wanda Deihl of North Wilkesboro, Janice Bowlin (James) of North Wilkesboro; two sons, Gary P. Miller (Phyllis) of North Wilkesboro, Scotty Miller (Amanda) of Wilkesboro; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. He is also blessed to have multiple nieces and nephews that loved him dearly.
