Patsy Rosella (Hawkins) Dancy

Mrs. Patsy Rosella Hawkins Dancy, age 84 of North Wilkesboro, passed away Tuesday, July 27, 2021 at Wilkes Health and Rehabilitation.

Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, July 2021 at Flint Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Sherrill Welborn officiating.

Mrs. Dancy was born June 4, 1937 in Wilkes County to Solomon and Charmie Combs Hawkins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Don Sampson Dancy; one sister, Gladys Johnson; and one brother, Ray Hawkins.

Mrs. Dancy is survived by a daughter, Vickie Cleary and spouse, Dean of Traphill; two sons, Brian Dancy and significant other, Jessica Barlow of Hickory, and Christopher Dancy and spouse Tammy of North Wilkesboro; six grandchildren, Hunter Dancy, Pfischer Dancy, Elijah Dancy, Lilly Dancy, Tonya Hernandez, Alicia Badger; seven great grandchildren, Shiloh Dancy, Camdyn Dancy, Samson Prevette, Travis Shepherd, Douglas Shepherd, Ciara Pierce, and Carson Pierce; four great grandchildren, Lillyann Shepherd, Mason Shepherd, Ryder Shepherd, Haily-Jo Shepherd; and four sisters, Nancy Johnston and husband Tom of North Wilkesboro, Faye Miller, Betty Blackburn and husband, Glenn, and Angie Call all of Ronda.
