Pansy (Bare) Walsh

Mrs. Pansy Bare Walsh, age 95 of Boomer passed away Sunday, March 30, 2025, at Wilkes Assisted Living. 

The family will receive friends Saturday, April 12, 2025, from 4:00 until 6:00 PM at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home. 

Services will be private. 

Pansy was born March 22, 1930, in Ashe County to Jessie and Clelia Faw Bare.  

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; William “Bill” L. Walsh, a daughter; Kaye Walker, five sisters; Dettie Holder, Dessie Mae Morgan, Rosa Lee Morgan, Geraldine Huskey, Shirley Bentley and four brothers; Paul Bare, Fred Bare, Carl Bare and Junior Bare. 

She is survived by a daughter; Billie Hall and husband Ronnie of Spartanburg, SC, two sons; Calvin Walsh and wife Laura of Moravian Falls, Kirk Walsh and wife Beverly of Wilkesboro, a son-in-law; Tommy Walker, six grandchildren; Gray (Christine) Hall, Amanda Walsh (James) Woody, Chris Walker, Erin Walker Daly,  Adam (Stephanie) Walker, Nathan Walsh, twelve great grandchildren; two sisters; Brenda Kariker of Wilkesboro, Mary Kilby of Moravian Falls and a brother; Raymond Bare of Boomer.  

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mtn. Valley Hospice and Palliative Care, 945 Zepher Road, Dobson, NC 27017.
