Mrs. Ozell Faw Williams, age 89 of Wilkesboro passed away May 3, 2023 at her home. 

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, May 8, 2023 at Pilgrim Baptist Church with Rev. Evan Moore, Mr. Ethan Williams and Rev. Trent Craven officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM until 1:45 PM prior to the service at the church. The burial will be in Mountlawn Memorial Park.

Ozell was born May 30, 1933 in Wilkes County to Thurman Matthew and Callie Ader Ashley Faw.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Peter (Pete) Lee Williams; a son, Terry Williams; two brothers, JC Faw and Edgar Faw and wife Williemae.

She is survived by a daughter, Sherrie W. Joines (William Joines II) of Wilkesboro; a son, Tommy Williams (Pam) of Millers Creek; grandchildren, Megan Eller (Westley), Ethan Williams (Rachel), Ashton Norris (Blake), Ezra Williams and Callie McNeil (Tyler); great-grandchildren, Lily Eller, Easton Eller, Emma Eller, Sara-Grace Williams, Anna Williams, Maci Norris and Lexi Norris; sister-in-law, Judy Faw of Wilkesboro.
