Mrs. Oma Victoria Roberts Anderson, age 81, of North Wilkesboro, passed away Thursday, December 26, 2024, at Medical University Hospital in Charleston, SC.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Friday, January 3, 2025, at Reins-Sturdivant Chapel with Pastor Joey Moore and Rev. Lance Wilson officiating. Burial will be in Mountlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Thursday, January 2, 2025, at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home.
Oma was born May 10, 1943, in Wilkes County to William and Fannie Elledge Roberts. She retired from Modern Globe, Wilkes County School System, and Early Childcare Development Center. She graduated from Wilkes Community College with an associate’s degree at the age of 60. Oma loved going to the Wilkes Senior Center and making crafts, pottery, basket weaving, painting, and making blessing bracelets and handing them out to others.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; James “Jimmy” Anderson, daughter; Carol Anderson West, her daughter-in-law; Jackie Johnson Anderson, grandson; Jimmy West, and great-grandson; Shaun Thompson Jr.
She is survived by her son; Clark Anderson of McGrady, six grandchildren; Nathan Anderson (Vickie), Misty Morgan (Jimmy), Christopher Anderson, Nikki Lewis (Shannon), Carol Hunter (Josh), Tiffany West (Jamie), fifteen great-grandchildren; Allyah Herald (Chris), Ashton West, Alexis Wyatt, Joshua Hunter, Jonathan Hunter, Landon West, Trinity West, Sydney West, Avalee Lewis, Blake Anderson, Ryan Anderson, Elijah Anderson, Jake Morgan, Dylan Morgan (Isabella), Emma Morgan, three great-great-grandchildren; Nova Herald, Lakelynn Eastridge, Lorelai Morgan, and two great-great-grandchildren on the way; Violet Eastridge and Jimmy Morgan.
