Obituary
Nancy Buck Ricketts, 72, of Wilkesboro, NC, passed away on September 1, 2023 following a courageous battle with cancer.
Nancy was the daughter of the late Les and Carolyn Buck and was lovingly married to Bob for nearly 48 years. Nancy said her greatest love was shown in her devotion to her husband. Her greatest accomplishment was raising three amazing sons and her greatest joy was loving the Lord and sharing the Good News with all ages.
In addition to her husband, Bob, surviving to share her memories are her sons Matthew (Jennifer), David (Kelsey) and Adam (Marissa); her grandchildren Will, Ben, Alex and Lucy; her siblings Linda Meyer (Larry), Lester Buck and Christy Carlberg (Davis); and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, September 9, at 2 p.m. at Lenoir Presbyterian Church (1002 Kirkwood St. NW, Lenoir, NC 28645). The family will receive friends at the church following the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family would suggest donations to AMOREM Hospice of North Carolina, 1721 Enon Road, Valdese NC 28690, or a cancer research foundation of your choosing.
