Nancy Creed Cothren

Mrs. Nancy Carol Creed Cothern, age 88 of Roaring River passed away Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at Westwood Hills Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. 

Services will be announced at a later date. 

Nancy was born October 18, 1936, in Wilkes County to John A. and Sallie M. Baldwin Creed.  She was a member of Roaring River Baptist Church. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; Edsel Ray Cothren and two sisters; Laura Sue Blackburn and Evelyn Combs.

She is survived by two daughters; Tina C.Gentry of Roaring River, Terri C. Wolfe of Mooresville, a son; Tony C. Creed of Ferguson, seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren and a brother; Johnny Creed of Ronda.
