Mozelle Edna (Spears) Laws

Mrs. Mozelle Edna Spears Laws, age 87 of Wilkesboro passed away Friday June 3,2022 at Accordius of Wilkesboro.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday June 10, 2022 at Reins-Sturdivant Chapel with the Rev. Brady Hayworth officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery of Hwy 16. The family will receive friends from 6:30 until 8:30 Thursday evening at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home.

She was born February 13, 1935 in Wilkes County to Daughty and Polly Spears.

She is preceded in death by her husband; George Bentley Laws; four daughters; Vertie Mae Porter, Nancy Swaim, Viola Church and Peggy Mae Laws; three sons; Albert Lee Laws, Glenn Bentley Laws and Roger Lee Laws; two son in laws; Roland Porter, June church.

Mozelle is survived by; one sister; Elzina Huffman of Millers Creek, one brother; Charles Junior Spears of Millers Creek; many grandchildren; great- grandchildren and great-great grandchild   Tabitha Porter Caudill married to Franklin Albert Caudill  great grandchildren names are Kristin Mae Caudill, Kandice Marie Caudill, Kassie Morgan Caudill; great-great grandchildren Gannon Jacob Caudill, Freyja Mae Caudill, Kya Marie Caudill, Klementine Lucylle Caudill all of st Augustine FL, Clayton Church of Wilkesboro, Rebecca Porter; great grandchildren Austin Hudgins Dylan Hudgins, Jackilynn Hudgins all Wilkesboro Kaylinn Porter, Devin Hudgins of St Augustine FL., Samantha Porter ;great grandchildren; Anthony Perkins, Alyssa Perkins, Andrea Perkins all Wilkesboro, Melissa Dayton; great grandchildren Brandon Campbell, Kristy Campbell, Brianna Campbell and Hayley Campbell of Wilkesboro, Kathy Baker; great grandchildren: Jeremy Kendell, Kendra Jacob and Kenzie Baker, Jimmy Laws; great grandson  Lelan James Laws, Johnny Swaim of Charlottesville VA; great grandchildren, Dawson Swaim, Ashton Swaim, Savannah Swaim all from Charlottesville VA.
