Mrs. Mitzi Allonah Billings Combs, age 63 of Traphill passed away Monday, July 7, 2025, at her home.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, July 19, 2025, at Elkin Valley Baptist Church in Elkin with Rev. Stephen Robbins and Rev. Johnny Blevins officiating.   She will lie in state at the church beginning at 9:30 AM.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Friday, July 18, 2025, at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home.  Entombment will follow at Scenic Memorial Gardens.

Mitzi was born on May 17, 1962, in Wilkes County to Sankie Ebert and Virginia Dare Blevins Billings.  She retired from Lowe’s Companies, Inc. after 35 years of service.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Darrel Lavaughn Combs; sister, Sherry Rose (Mickey) of Raleigh; two brothers, Greg Billings (Belva) of Elkin and Johnny Billings of Morganton.
