Miss McKenna Faye Matherly, passed away Thursday, December 30 2021 at Atrium Health Wake Forest-Wilkes Medical Center.

Private graveside Service will be held at Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Mark Hall officiating.

McKenna was born December 30, 2021 to Bryant Alan Matherly and Catherine Brooke Shumate Matherly.

She was preceded in death by her Maternal Great Grandparents David McCarter and wife Carol, R.V. Shumate and wife Faye, and Paternal Great Grandfather Bobby Gene Watson.

McKenna is survived by her parents; one sister Caroline Matherly of the home: Maternal Grandparents Robbie Shumate and wife Tammie of Millers Creek; Paternal Grandparents Chris Matherly and wife Stephanie of Ferguson; Paternal great grandparents Barbara Watson of Ferguson; Wayne Matherly and wife Ardean Matherly of North Wilkesboro; Uncles Chris Shumate and wife Ruth of Wilkesboro; Ethan Matherly and wife Shanna of Lenoir.
