Maynard Jerry Dancy

Mr. Maynard Jerry Dancy, husband of Loretta Dancy, age 77 of Millers Creek passed away Monday, February 8, 2021 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston Salem. 

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, February 13, 2021 at Second Baptist Church in North Wilkesboro with Rev. Danny Dillard and Rev. Sherrill Wellborn officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM until 2:00 PM prior to the service.  Burial will be in Gordon Baptist Church Cemetery. 

Mr. Dancy was born January 17, 1944 in Wilkes County to Thomas Abe and Nealy Nora Church Dancy. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Nora McNeil; and five brothers, Claude Dancy, Jay Dancy, Sr., Ronnie Dancy, Bill Dancy, and Johnny Dancy. 

Mr. Dancy is survived by his wife, Loretta Anna Euliss Dancy of the home; a sister Linda Myers of Hays; and a brother, Thomas Dancy Jr. of Millers Creek; and several nieces and nephews.
