Maxine Elizabeth (Holleman) Money

Mrs. Maxine Holleman Money, age 78 of North Wilkesboro passed away Tuesday, August 29, 2023, at her residence.

Funeral services will be held 3:30 PM Friday, September 1, 2023, at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dwayne Lankford officiating. Burial will be in the Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM prior to the service at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home.   

Maxine was born October 16, 1944, in Yadkin County to Walter McKinley and Ola Mae Knight Holleman.  She was a member of Fairview Baptist Church.          

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; Glenn Sinks Money, a daughter; Glennette Love, two sisters; Lucille Snow and Ruby “Lorene” Caudle, four brothers; Mckinley Holleman, Elgy Holleman, Gene Holleman, and Lester Holleman.

She is survived by two daughters; Glenda Johnson of North Wilkesboro, Kay Burchette of Ronda, one son; Danny Glenn Money of North Wilkesboro, sister; Marie Feimster of Sherrills Ford, two brothers; Troy Holleman and wife Betty of Maiden, Raymond Holleman and wife Sadie of Statesville, grandchildren; Kristina Love of Connelly Springs, Maranda Money of North Wilkesboro, Wesley Love of Wilkesboro, Christopher Johnson of North Wilkesboro, Jamie Doom of High Point, Daniel Lee Money of McGrady, James Money of McGrady, Brandon Burchette and wife Yesenia of Ronda, great-grandchildren; Brody Johnson, Bailey Johnson, Dylan Brooks, Violet Adams, and Amelia Delatorre.                                   

Flowers will be accepted, or memorials may be made to the donor’s choice.
