Mr. Matthew Scott McCachren, age 65 of North Wilkesboro, passed away Thursday, July 31, 2025, at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist – Winston-Salem.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, August 30, 2025, at Reins-Sturdivant Chapel with Pastor David White officiating.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM prior to the service at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home. 

Matthew was born April 10, 1960, in Cabarrus County to William B. McCachren, Sr. and Minnie Ruth Brooks McCachren. He was co-owner of Diamond Cup Coffee Company, LLC. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Myra Oneal McCachren Carrigan; and one niece, Jennifer Carrigan.

He is survived by his brother, William B. McCachren, Jr., of the home; and one niece, Roseanne Dixon. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a fund of the donor’s choosing.
