Mason Blane Barker

Mason Blane Barker, age 11 of Traphill passed away Tuesday, May 12, 2020 at Wake Forest Baptist-Wilkes Medical Center. 

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, May 19, 2020 at Scenic Memorial Gardens Chapel with Pastor Travis Brown officiating.  Mason will lie-in-state Monday from 10:00 AM until 4:00 PM at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home. 

Mason was born October 1, 2008 in Opelika, Alabama to Anthony Dale Barker and Alicia Ann Bauguess. He was in the 4th grade at Traphill Elementary School. 

He was preceded in death by his mother; Alicia Bauguess. 

He is survived by his grandmother; Dora Mae Williams of Traphill, great grandmother; Mary Shumate of Hays, one aunt; Denise Williams and two uncles; Jimmy and Glen Williams and wife Cassandra of Hays and Kimberly Rivera a special family friend and Mason’s best friend; Cristian Martinez.
