Mary Nell (Alexander) Williams

Mrs. Mary Nell Alexander Williams, age 87, widow of R.V. Williams of North Wilkesboro passed away Sunday, September 6, 2020 at her home. 

Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, September 9, 2020 at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Ken Pardue and Mr. Alvin West officiating. Mrs. Williams’s body will lie in state from 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home for the public to view on Tuesday, September 8, 2020.

Mrs. Williams was born July 12, 1933 in Wilkes County to Roy Clinton and Lura Mae Stone Alexander, She was a loving mother and grandmother, active in her church and community, also loved gardening and cooking for her family. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Earl and Jerry Alexander of North Wilkesboro. 

She is survived by a daughter, Vickie Walsh (Gary) of Wilkesboro; three sons, Michael Williams (Diane), Mark Williams (Dale), and Alan Williams (Lisa) all of North Wilkesboro; five grandchildren, Carrie Roten, Kelley Walsh, James Williams, Cory Williams, and Katherine Williams; ten great grandchildren, Madison, Trevor, Jaylen, Makina, Khloe, Hayden, Grayson, Nolan, Keegan, and Owen; also a brother, Mayford Alexander (Thelma) of Roaring River. 

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Antioch Baptist Church 1298 Antioch Church Rd. Wilkesboro, NC  28697.
