Ms. Mary Elizabeth Sheets, age 73 of Wilkesboro, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, September 29, 2025, at Ridge Valley Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Private family services will be held at a later date.

Mary was born on May 29, 1952, in Wilkes County to Fred (Landon) and Connie Faye Royal Sheets. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Maxie Hart; and four brothers, David Sheets, John Sheets, Roy Sheets and Tony Sheets.

She is survived by a son, Jason Elijah Sheets of Charlotte; two sisters, Betty Kilby of Wilkesboro and Peggy Royster of North Wilkesboro; and a brother, Mike Sheets and wife Lisa of Hays.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ebenezer’s Christian Children’s Home, 1006 Byrd Ridge Road, North Wilkesboro, NC 28659.
